Sorry it's been so long between blogs. It seems like it should be easier but I guess I don't have much to say.



Things are proceeding well with the Bubbles, Butterflies and Balloons event. We are still waiting to hear from Sam's club about donating snacks, but the games, music, balloons and a number of pictures have been donated.



There was a pretty big development for the Journey For Jess as a extremely talented professional photographer contacted me to both donate some of his work to the silent auction and put a link to the Journey For Jess on his web site. His name is Don Smith and his web site is www.donsmithphotography.com. His work is absolutely amazing and I am so humbled by his willingness to help with the Journey For Jess.

Wow, what a weekend.

We attended the Step Forward to Cure Tuberous Sclerosis walk in St Paul to support our friend Kylie and her Kylies Hope team.  The walk raised $63,000 for the TS Alliance and was a huge success.  I got to meet Chris Hawkey from KFAN and talk to him a bit about the Journey For Jess.  He will be a great resource for helping me get some publicity.

Things have slowed down a bit for the Journey For Jess.  We are focusing on the Butterflies, Bubbles and Balloons event on June 15th.  I'm still looking for people who are willing to donate framed photographs for the silent auction.  Please let me know if you are able to donate.

I finally got a chance to get out and take some pictures tonight.  I was hoping for a big sunset and although it wasn't great, I did get a couple of good pictures.



Not much new with the Journey For Jess, we got another online donations which is great.  I also got the new slips from Kevin at WDAY, but am having trouble getting them transferred so I can put them on the site.  I'm also going to try and find a fundraising status graphic to show how far I am to my goal of raising $40,000.

Highlight of the week:



JFJ got it's first online donation this week. Yee haw. We also had a sunday school in Erskine donate part of their Sunday School offering too us. Very cool. We will be going up to worship with them and thank them sometime early this summer.
